Welcome to My Sweet Prairie! My name is Monika. I'm a self-taught quilt maker and fibre artist living in the heart of the Canadian prairies. My work is original and inspired by the world around me. I have been sewing, drawing, & photographing all my life. For the past several years I've sewn on a daily basis. As a quilter and artist, it is a joy for me to delve into fibre arts. I study my craft regularly and sew on a daily basis in my home studio.
My Sweet Prairie's Quilts, Fibre Art, & Photography have been displayed at local galleries, shows, and stores. My work is high quality with attention to detail. I have sold several commissioned pieces over the years. I am a member of The Saskatchewan Craft Council and also the Saskatoon Quilters' Guild. Email me! Comments and commissions are always welcomed.
